In case you are running AdWords campaigns and were looking to implement the new Google Dynamic Retargeting tag in WooCommerce for the new Google Dynamic Remarketing campaigns you’ve come to the right place. We’ve developed a plugin for WooCommerce which is able to insert a dynamic retargeting tag on WooCommerce pages. It can be used to collect data for Google Dynamic Remarketing Lists which can be used for Dynamic Display Ads (DDA) and Remarketing Lists for Search Ads (RLSA). This is something many have been looking for and only large companies could afford so far. With this plugin you’ll be able to use this fantastic new Google AdWords marketing feature with your WooCommerce online shop too.
Grab the current version from here: http://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-google-dynamic-retargeting-tag

Are you planning to support the Universal Analytics version of the remarketing tag? We’ve been using your current plugin, but want to take advantage of the new capabilities for remarketing targeting in Universal Analytics.
Here’s the link that shows that Universal Analytics now supports remarketing:

Hi David
It is a good idea. But as long as WooCommerce doesn’t support the Universal Analytics code I don’t really see the point.
Generally Google Analytics does support remarketing tags for dynamic parameters now. And yes, it is a good idea to support it. But I’m short on time to implement it right now. I only can say that “it’s going to be done when it’s done”.
Cheers

Hello,
1. is it compatible with 3.7.1 version of wordpress and 2+ of woocomerce?
2. i converted the code for remarketing but it seems it is not working, what should i place in your plugin the entire code or the property code UA – xxxx, I can mention that is google analytics code not universal analytics( i know that universal analytics goesnt allow yet to make remarketing campaigns)
Thank you in advance
Best regards,
Dan

Hi Dan
1. Yes it is compatible with WP 3.7.1 and WC 2+
2. You only need to put the conversion ID (mandatory, coming from Googele AdWords) and the Google Merchant Center product ID prefix (mandatory) into the plugins settings. If you are using the Google Product Feed plugin from WooThemes for the Google Merchant Center you need to use the prefix “woocommerce_gpf_”. For all other feed plugins I’ve seen so far the prefix needs to be empty (As mentioned in the installation guide you need to have a running Google Merchant Center with products loaded). The conversion label can be left empty. If you have a custom retargeting tag (longer cookie validity) then you may put it’s conversion label into the plugins settings.
UA-xxx code is only for Google Analytics which you won’t need for this plugin.
Please have a second look at the installation guide. If you still struggle please send me an email to info@wolfundbaer.ch with a description where you are getting stuck. I will help you accordingly.
